This
Stratton compact is ca 1956 and done in the Corona style - a
big, round compact. (in 1952 this style was called "Scone",
1956 "Corona" and in 1960 it was called "Regal"). This

"compact in hand" logo. The outer clasp is secure. The
bottom is done in snowflakes and has very, very minor wear.
This piece has a diameter of 4". It is in excellent

This
gold tone Stratton compact is done in the petite Princess
style with scalloped edges. The lid is enameled white with
silver etching and a transfer of an anenome bouquet. Very,
very slight crazing to this early 1950s compact can be seen
when moved around in the light. The mirror is clear but
shows some aging to the silvering. The full inner lid shows
a slight amount of wear. Has the "compact in hand" logo and
secure clasp. The puff and sifter are both present in used
condition. The outer clasp is secure. Diameter is 2.75".
In very good used condition.

This is a
very impressive little compact!! It is signed Stratton and
features an enameled lid with two galleon style ships. This
compact is done in goldtone. The mirror is still clear and
intact. The sifter and puff are both present. This style
has no inner lid. The clasp is secure. This compact has a
diameter of 2.25". It does show some age wear in darkening
to the metal and in the enameling of the lid. It is heavy
for its size. I am rating the condition of this compact as
excellent as it is quite remarkable for its age. This is a
wonderful collector's piece!
Item - COM-145 $75.99
